SIFA presented in an International Conference in Bonn Germany

After being invited by IKY (the Erasmus+ Greek National Agency), the coordinator of the Erasmus+ KA2 project Safe Internet For All (SIFA), Georgios Errikos Hlapanis of the 2nd Lyceum of Kos, presented the project’s Results and Lessons Learned from its implementation during an International Conference held in Bonn Germany, 17-19 May 2017.

School meeting at Os vgs

Thursday February 25, Os vgs had a meeting with the Department of Education and Training in Hordaland Fylkeskommune. At this meeting we presented the project and what we have done so far. We got a good feedback on our project and they were interested in further dissemination of our project to other schools in our region.

Two of the students, who have participated in the project (Malene and Henrik) presented their experiences and what they have learned. In addition to this, Tone and Mona talked about the project in general and how this has helped us in our work as teachers.

Meeting with eKoordinators

Thursday all of the teachers went to Langhaugen vgs to meet with th eKoordinators in the region. In Hordaland county each school has an eKoordinator which is the person in the school who is responsible for teaching teachers and other staff about different software used in the schools. The eKoordinators are run by ePedagogs who are responsible for the schools in their region and follow up what needs to be done.

Dissemination Activities - Students teaching other students in Greek schools (2nd High School of Kos)

A group of 3 students of the 2nd Lyceum of Kos (Greece) visited another lower High School of the district (2nd High School of Kos) in order to present to the younger students their work about safety and especially Grooming. They also talked with the students and informed them about the dangers. It was a very interesting experience for all.
